Gluten Free FAQs

  • How does Sam's Pizza protect against cross contamination?

Sam's Pizza has specific procedures in place to protect against cross contamination.  Although our Sam's Pizza locations are not gluten free environments, we do prepare the gluten free pizza using strict guidelines.  We sauce the pizza using dedicated ladles and sauce the pizza out of a dedicated sauce container.  We place a gluten free crust on a dedicated gluten free screen and use a designated pizza cutter to cut it into 8 slices.

Our staff is trained to wash their hands and put on gloves before beginning the process of preparing a gluten free pizza, and to use special care not to bring the gluten free crusts into contact with anything that can lead to cross contamination.

  • What is the disclaimer for the Sam's Pizza gluten free pizza?

Our gluten free pizza crusts are supplied by a gluten free bakery.  They arrive sealed, and we top them with your choice of pepperoni and/or sausage, and our special Sam's Pizza pizza sauce.  These toppings have been researched and confirmed gluten free.  Every effort is made to keep these ingredients free from contamination.  However, Sam's Pizza locations are not gluten free environments.  We make our own pizza dough daily and at any given time, particles of flour are present in the kitchen.  Furthermore, we cannot warranty that the foods we serve are gluten free due to changes in brand or supplier and/or cross contamination caused from human error.  Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Sam's Pizza does not assume any liability for the foods offered.
